March Nuggets

We have a request for you energtic folks who are out walking regularly.
Please try to walk in a single file along Victoria in particular, or try to stay over along the pull-thrus.  It makes it difficult for vehicles to negotiate around you and oncoming traffic as well.
Drivers are asked to be on the watch as well and obey the 15 mph speed limit within the park.  If you have small folks visiting for school breaks etc, and are bopping around in golf cars, please accompany them.
Thank You

February Nuggets

The Shriners will be raffling off the Navajo Sarape quilt at the last Shriner Dinner dinner to be held here in the park on February 27th,

The 20 yards of fabric and Navajo Sarape pattern were donated by Grandma Jo’s Fabrics.
The quilt was made by Pat Joslin and It took him approximately 100 hours of cutting and sewing to complete.
It was quilted by Dee Shultz. Dee lives in La Pine, Oregon. Knowing she is a fantastic long arm quilter, we chose her to do the work and she graciously donated her quilting.
Sharon Woodward, a long time quilter from Colorado and active member of her local guild and a member of the Fortuna Classic Quilters, esimated the replacement value of the Sarape De Fortuna quilt at $1,800.00.
We do have tickets (6 for $5.00) available at the office.
